About Me

Jenna (she/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Associate specializing in helping clients navigate relationship challenges, queer identities, difficulties with family members, acceptance of self, intimacy, chronic illnesses, and transitional life changes. Jenna believe that situating yourself as a unique person in a complex world is hard, especially when you try to do it alone, and asking for help takes courage. Jenna is here to help you figure out the hard stuff, cancel out the noise, and delight in the joy.

Jenna sees therapy as a conversation, a connection that invites changes in perspective and action. She will meet you with curiosity, empathy, and intention, offering the necessary space for you to explore what you are facing. And because trust is such an important aspect of a client-therapist relationship, Jenna will collaborate with you in determining the pace and content of our sessions.

Jenna has mostly worked with individuals ages 18-35, but also has experience seeing older individuals and couples. Regardless of who is in the room, Jenna is guided by her practice of mindfulness and inspired by the ideas offered by acceptance and commitment theory, hypnotherapy, and queer theory. Whether you’re straight or queer, whether you’re coming in alone or with a partner, Jenna will honor who you are and who you strive to be as we explore the complexities and nuances of your identity, your circumstances, your community, and your potential for change.

Jenna currently works with individuals aged 18 years and older.

OUR MISSIONWHAT WE STAND FOR

We are guided by principles of awareness, compassion and change in our clinical and community-based work. We seek to bring awareness to issues such as racial trauma, interpersonal violence, LGBTQ+ affirmative care and women’s health concerns. We offer accessible services and extensive training through our counseling internship program. And we partner with community groups engaged in activism with and for marginalized groups.
