About Me

Solana Wild (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNC Greensboro. Solana has been practicing since 2017; working with clients from all walks of life, including kids, teens, and adults. She specializes in assisting clients seeking support with mental and emotional wellness – helping you move from surviving to thriving.

Solana is a sex-positive clinician who strives to provide an affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ clients and allies. Solana is passionate about providing psychoeducation to deepen clients’ understanding of their cognitive, behavioral, and physiological patterns. Other areas of education Solana focuses on are healthy and unhealthy relationship dynamics; romantic, familial, and peer to peer; and developing healthy boundaries. Solana is also working toward certification in Eating Disorder treatment.

Solana utilizes Person Centered and Cognition-based perspectives in her work and adapts her approach to meet each client where they are at. Solana emphasizes the importance of working collaboratively with clients to better understand their inner worlds to move toward a place of healing.

In her spare time Solana enjoys singing and playing guitar, hanging out with her cats, being outside, and reading.

OUR MISSIONWHAT WE STAND FOR

We are guided by principles of awareness, compassion and change in our clinical and community-based work. We seek to bring awareness to issues such as racial trauma, interpersonal violence, LGBTQ+ affirmative care and women’s health concerns. We offer accessible services and extensive training through our counseling internship program. And we partner with community groups engaged in activism with and for marginalized groups.
